Chuck is always a must-buy, must-read for me. He was my favorite author about 10 years ago. Ever since Haunted, his books have declined. I don’t know what happened to him. Long gone are the masterpieces like Fight Club, Lullaby, Diary, Choke, Invisible Monsters, or Survivor. Any new readers of Chuck should stick to those. I have not given up on Chuck, but I hope he gets his shit together soon.
